Mid-Season Coach Meeting
October 16th, 2023 @ 6pm
We have officially made it half way through the season. We want to use this meeting to check in with our coaches and see what is going well, what we can help with, and what we can improve.
- Skyler Hug has been voted in as our regions new Coach Administrator.
- His phone number is 805-405-0153
- Contact Skyler for anything related to coaching. Examples: Laws of the game, coach certifications and
trainings, coaching issues (refs, other coaches, etc.)
- Jordyn Speakman is the Division Coordinator.
- Her phone number is 760-417-0673
- Contact Jordyn for player, parent, or scheduling issues. Examples: Rescheduling of games, player
concerns/issues, all-stars questions, etc.
- Evaluations - Please complete player evaluations and turn in by October 28, 2023
- Equipment - Please turn in after your last game on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Once you have turned in your
equipment we will provide you with your team's medals.
- Participation Points - If anyone has sponsors that have not been submitted please get those in ASAP. We have
only received 2 sponsors this year. Also, we are missing parent pledges from many teams.
- Training and Certifications - Some coaches and Assistant Coaches are lacing certifications.
- Field Set up and Take down - Thank you all for helping. It has been a huge help for us having shared
responsibilities. Any issues or questions?
- Behavior/Attendance - I just wanted to give coaches a reminder that they can reach out to us for help
with behavioral issues and attendance of players. We can notify parents and help
with the consequences for these kiddos.
- Standings - Standings will be on the website shortly. Does anyone need assistance with practices, strategy, etc.

All Stars
- Practice games - January 13,14
- All Star Tournament - January 20, 21
- Open to U10, U12, and U14
- Coaches must have appropriate coaching license AND all safety courses, background, and fingerprinting to take a
team.
- Recruiting can begin 10 days prior to Thanksgiving - November 13th
- PLEASE get us the evaluations on time so we can use them to help determine eligible players.
- We would like to have an All-Star tryout this year. We would love for coaches to participate and invite all the
kiddos to use it as a player evaluation.
- Proposed date is November 25, 2023

2. Would you prefer to have practice space designated?
3. Would you practice at Wallace lower field (grass area) or South Fork Elementary if it were available for use?
4. Do you feel like you can contact someone on the board and get a response in a timely manner when you need it?
5. What equipment would benefit you as a coach? (Practice, games, etc.)?
